A OrgSync Case Study
Ramapo College of New Jersey, a public four‑year institution with 6,000+ students, made student engagement a strategic priority after National Survey of Student Engagement data and campus policy changes (including a freshmen car ban) revealed insufficient out‑of‑class academic involvement. Administrators formed a cross‑divisional steering committee to link engagement to retention, graduation and learning outcomes through a Four Year Model and identified Key Points of Engagement (KPEs) to guide programming for each year.
The college adopted OrgSync’s Co‑Curricular Transcript (CCT) and launched My CCT and Earn My Wings to track attendance (card swipes, RSVPs), collect reflections, and incentivize participation. The initiative produced rapid, measurable impact—29,065 CCT entries, 5,201 card swipes, 29,535 timesheet hours, 4,533 events created—and more than 70% of first‑year students became highly engaged, while administrators gained streamlined assessment and evidence of learning outcomes.
