OrgSync partnered with Bowling Green State University (18,000 students, ~340 student organizations) to replace a fragile, paper-heavy in-house FileMaker budget system. The legacy process required students to submit thousands of paper requests each year, produce multiple 15‑page committee packets, carry reimbursement forms across campus, and relied on a single staff member’s expertise—leaving BGSU unable to find an off‑the‑shelf solution and in need of a development partnership.

OrgSync built and piloted a Budget Management System that moved budgeting, committee review, hearings, reimbursements, and approval workflows online. The campus-wide rollout created a largely paperless process used by 270 organizations, saved staff time, served as a detailed sub-ledger, eliminated 43,200 printed pages annually, supported $1.1M in allocations, improved student engagement, and provided reliable vendor support.
