Freeman Health System Selects Ordr For Multiple IoT Security Use Cases

Freeman Health System, the largest medical network in southwest Missouri with about 5,000 employees and roughly 17,000 IoT/IoMT devices, needed a way to discover and secure its extensive, distributed device estate — tracking vulnerabilities, anomalous communications, and supporting procurement decisions. Freeman engaged Ordr and evaluated then deployed the Ordr Systems Control Engine (SCE) to address those challenges.

Ordr’s SCE rapidly discovered and classified devices, mapped device-specific communications with its Flow Genome, and integrated threat intelligence to surface vulnerabilities and suspicious “call‑home” behavior so Freeman could visualize and mitigate risks. The platform helped stop risky communications, improve vulnerability management, and inform capital decisions — for example, Ordr showed EKG utilization at 40%, enabling device reallocation instead of purchasing new machines — delivering both security improvements and measurable cost savings from Ordr.
