A Ordoro Case Study
Bonobos launched in 2007 to solve a simple problem: men’s pants that actually fit. Rapid growth forced the company to move beyond founder Andy Dunn’s bedroom “warehouse” and small Manhattan offices, and fulfillment—once handled by a single full-time person touching every garment—became costly and unsustainable while they kept free shipping and high-touch customer service as central promises.
In 2009 Bonobos outsourced fulfillment to Quiet Logistics, treating the provider as an extension of their team with regular executive and operations-level coordination. The partnership delivered scalable, world-class fulfillment while Bonobos retained in-house customer support and free shipping, enabling the company to focus on product quality, brand building and new initiatives like Guideshops.
