Survey & Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) is Bahrain’s national authority for surveying, mapping and property registration. Facing the need to become the definitive regional geospatial provider, embed sustainable change, align with the Bahrain 2030 Economic Vision, and justify investment, SLRB engaged Ordnance Survey (via OS International) to bring corporate strategy and vision to its transformation programme.

Ordnance Survey worked with SLRB and stakeholders to assess the current strategic position, capture expectations, define SLRB’s role as a geospatial and government data provider, and co-develop a transformation roadmap. The work produced an agreed vision and critical success factors in March 2014 and a practical strategic roadmap in July 2014, delivering the building blocks for capability growth, organisational change and a formalised government remit for SLRB.
