Land Registry needed a modern, self-service way for customers to perform online land title searches, streamline checks across more than 24 million land registrations and title numbers, reduce Search of the Index Map requests, and deliver efficiency savings and better customer service. Europa Technologies, using its viaEuropa hosted map service together with Ordnance Survey data, partnered with Land Registry to build the MapSearch application to meet those goals.

Europa Technologies delivered a standards-based MapSearch solution that turned raw OS data into a finished map product, designed with user input to improve usability. The result: overwhelmingly positive customer feedback, measurable time and cost savings, reduced manual index-map requests, and a scalable service that supports searches of over 24 million titles while improving efficiency and integration.
