Citrus Analytics - Customer Case Study

Citrus Analytics, a marketing software company, needed to add customer mapping and visual selection to its Zest analytics package so users could turn raw customer records into actionable segments for research and direct marketing. To achieve this they turned to OS OpenData, using Code-Point® Open together with the 1:250 000 Scale Colour Raster maps to represent and display customer records on a map.

By integrating OS OpenData products into Zest, Citrus Analytics enabled visual selection, filtering and mapping of customer deciles (for example, total‑spend deciles) so teams can spot and target geographic clusters of high‑value customers. OS OpenData’s Code-Point Open (updated quarterly) and raster maps provided accurate postcode placement, straightforward licensing and tighter integration with Zest’s analytics, delivering clearer customer insight and more effective segmentation for campaigns and analysis.
