Interactive In-store Displays Bringing Sports Experts’ omni-channel vision to life

Sports Experts, the largest sporting goods retailer in Québec with over 70 stores, partnered with Orckestra Inc. to modernize its stores and deliver a seamless omni-channel shopping experience. Facing the challenge of bringing rich, consistent product information into stores and reducing service friction during busy periods, Sports Experts leveraged Orckestra Commerce Cloud and RFID-enabled interactive product displays to connect in-store content with their newly launched e-commerce platform.

Orckestra Inc. implemented an RFID “Shoe Wall” tied to Orckestra Commerce Cloud so that placing a shoe on the scanner instantly displays product details, sizes in local inventory, and contextual videos on store screens. The solution unified online and in-store product data, empowered business users to update content with minimal IT involvement, gave associates near-real-time stock visibility, reduced customer wait times and potential lost sales, and increased in-store engagement with plans to roll the approach out across additional stores.
