Farm Credit West Establishes Microsoft Teams as Its Collaboration Hub with Orchestry

Farm Credit West, a financial institution serving the agricultural sector, needed to transform its collaboration from a reliance on email and SharePoint to making Microsoft Teams its primary hub. The challenge was to provision and customize teams efficiently while maintaining strict governance to avoid chaos and duplication. Using Orchestry, pre-built workspace templates were created for different use cases, standardizing the provisioning process. This solution resulted in a 92% reduction in the time taken to provision a new team and a 75% fall in the time needed for customizations. Orchestry's governance features ensured consistency and control, leading to annual savings of $14,400 on provisioning alone. The institution has successfully onboarded all its departments to Teams and is planning a controlled rollout of self-service provisioning using Orchestry.
