How Anthemis Drives Sustainable Portfolio Engagement with 1:1 Peer Connections

Anthemis, a global FinTech investor, needed to support its 100+ portfolio companies by facilitating valuable 1:1 peer conversations. Their challenge was manually scaling these connections across their global network, a problem that became more urgent during the pandemic. They partnered with the vendor Orbiit to implement its service for creating curated 1:1 connections.

Using Orbiit, Anthemis offered biweekly opt-in opportunities for matched conversations, which drastically reduced scheduling friction. The solution was highly successful, engaging participants from 89 portfolio companies and achieving a Net Promoter Score of 88. The conversations led to lasting relationships, with 81% of participants wanting to stay connected with their matches, and also provided Anthemis with valuable insights to inform its broader content strategy.
