Simplifying the Human Resource Operation for Agincourt Pentecostal Church

Agincourt Pentecostal Church (APC) is a multigenerational Toronto church founded in the 1950s with about 3,000 Sunday attendees, roughly 10,000 people associated, one main campus plus four satellites, and 54 staff. Managing HR with paper files and Excel was labor-intensive and error-prone: manual timekeeping and part-time timesheets were hard to track, leave requests and personal data updates were slow and duplicative, and important payroll and reporting information was frequently missed.

APC implemented OrangeHRM’s cloud-hosted HR system—deploying Personal Information Management, Leave Management, and Time & Attendance modules with Employee Self-Service—so staff can update records, apply for leave, and submit timesheets online. The result was automated leave and timesheet workflows, accurate timekeeping and reporting, reduced data duplication and human error, easier payroll processing, and a simpler, widely accepted HR process that saves time and effort.
