VistaJet Reduces Maintenance Downtime to Zero, Improves Scalability, Availability, Continuity, and Security for Rapidly Growing Business Jet Company

VistaJet, a global business aviation company providing on-demand private air travel, was growing rapidly and needed its critical systems to run 24/7 to support complex flight operations and a demanding, global customer base. The IT challenge was to improve resiliency, availability, scalability and security for applications that handle flight scheduling, sales, maintenance, and finance while minimizing planned outages and supporting rapid business expansion.

VistaJet standardized on an Oracle stack (Database 12c with RAC and Multitenant, WebLogic 12c, BPM, ASM, Advanced Security, and BI) implemented with partner Red Stack Tech, and migrated bespoke apps to a clustered environment. The result: maintenance downtime dropped from up to three hours to zero, 24/7 application availability and higher scalability and security, replicated high-availability storage, faster provisioning for growth, streamlined workflows and improved reporting through a new data warehouse and BI tools.
