VINCI Construction Grands Projets, a French engineering and construction consortium, needed to coordinate the design and build of the National Research Oncology Center in Kazakhstan with teams spread across five countries. The project required secure, cross-border collaboration to share building information models (BIM) and other data while managing multilingual, multi–time zone workflows and preventing miscommunication and versioning errors.

VINCI implemented Oracle Aconex, a cloud-based platform with local language support and browser-based model viewing, to centralize document control and automate revision management. The solution improved access to BIM data, sped decision-making, eliminated version-control issues, reduced time spent searching for project information, and ultimately accelerated operational processes by 50%.
