Victoria Department of Transport needed to modernize its legacy finance and transport IT environment after merging three departments, while improving reporting, budgeting, data integration, and overall efficiency. Working with Oracle and its cloud technologies, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Integration Cloud, the department also had to replace manual data handling and connect systems like Zycus and Salesforce.

Oracle implemented Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, and Oracle Analytics to unify data and automate integrations across business applications. The result was 154 integrations across multiple systems, a centralized financial data repository, improved dashboards and reporting, stronger security, and faster budgeting and planning that saved time and costs.
