Tušmobil Shortens Time-to-Market for Innovative Mobile Services While Minimizing IT Costs

Tušmobil d.o.o., Slovenia’s third-largest mobile operator, needed to accelerate time-to-market for innovative prepaid, postpaid and wholesale services while improving billing-system stability, third‑party ERP/CRM integration, regulatory (EU) compliance and IT scalability—all without increasing infrastructure costs—to maintain rapid growth and support new business models such as hosting MVNOs.

Working with partner Tridens, Tušmobil upgraded to Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management 7.3 and Oracle Database in under five months and used Oracle Real Application Testing for pre-migration validation. The upgrade cut rollout times for new packages to weeks (and add-ons to days), reduced annual billing-system downtime from 12 to 2 hours, enabled MVNO hosting (e.g., Telemach), delivered EU compliance features like bill‑shock prevention with no extra hardware/software spend, and provided the stability and scalability to support ongoing revenue and subscriber growth.
