TTX modernizes business processes with Oracle Cloud

TTX, the railcar pooling company owned by North America’s leading railroads, needed to replace a heavily customized mix of on-premises SAP ERP, custom applications, and SaaS tools that created manual work and made it hard to keep up with change while meeting Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. TTX selected Oracle Cloud, including Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, and SCM, as a modern, mobile-friendly, single-platform solution.

Oracle helped TTX consolidate 14 systems into one integrated platform and improve reporting and decision-making with Oracle Analytics Cloud and Autonomous Data Warehouse. The results included streamlining SKUs from 2,600 to 740, reducing manual data integration effort, improving inventory control and cost management, and enabling TTX to meet its 2020 financial plan while continuing to evolve its business processes through quarterly Oracle updates.
