Tramontina USA, the distributor of premium cookware, cutlery, and kitchen accessories, needed to modernize operations to meet growing retailer demand. The company was held back by a heavily customized, disconnected Oracle E-Business Suite and slow infrastructure that made demand planning, supplier alerts, invoice processing, and large-volume order handling inefficient, undermining customer responsiveness and retailer trust.
Tramontina moved to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Cloud SCM, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Oracle Order Management, eliminating most customizations and automating key processes. The change sped data flow end-to-end, improved demand forecasting, shortened finance close from ~3 days to under 1 day, reduced reports from 200 to 40, and enabled high-volume order handling (up to 40,000 orders/day, 1,500 uploads/hour and 500,000 messages/month). The cloud setup also allowed a seamless remote-work transition during the pandemic and strengthened retailer relationships and shelf presence.
