Toyota moves high-performance workloads to Oracle Cloud

Toyota, the world’s largest automaker, wanted to improve car design and development efficiency while continuing to run high-performance computing workloads for complex simulations. To support its HPC multicloud strategy, Toyota evaluated cloud providers and needed a solution that could deliver fast, accurate, flexible, and cost-effective computing beyond its on-premises environment.

Oracle implemented Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for Toyota’s computational simulations. With Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Toyota increased simulation speed and development efficiency, optimized costs, and reduced computing resource procurement time from more than six months to just a few days, while also gaining the flexibility to test new technologies.
