The Workshop is a Barcelona-based IT consulting firm that builds business intelligence and process-improvement solutions for retail, transportation, and manufacturing clients. Faced with the need to deliver real-time decision-making tools, streamline corporate and client communications, and provide a single, integral dashboard combining KPIs, department performance, documents and tasks, the company sought a cloud platform that would improve operational efficiency and strengthen client retention.

Working with Oracle Consulting, The Workshop implemented and integrated Oracle Documents Cloud Service and Oracle Business Intelligence in under a week, creating a user-friendly performance dashboard that unifies KPIs, stock levels, approvals, to-do lists and conversations and ingests data from mobile, GPS and databases. The solution eliminated versioning delays, improved real-time decision making (for example rerouting vehicles or reallocating stock), fostered internal knowledge sharing, scaled easily for new users and features, and turned the platform into an indispensable value-add that boosted client retention and upsell opportunities.
