The Ampersand Hotel is a 111-room boutique in London’s South Kensington with multiple dining outlets and a busy events program. The hotel needed a reliable, easy-to-learn property management system that would support reservations, sales and catering, simplify staff training and recruitment, and improve interdepartmental communication during peak periods.

The Ampersand implemented Oracle Hospitality OPERA Property Standard Cloud Service as its PMS and integrated sales-and-catering platform. The cloud solution delivered a familiar, Windows-based interface that sped up training and hiring, configurable user permissions, seamless sharing of reservation and event data, smooth installation and responsive support—leading to faster responses, fewer communication issues between teams, and more efficient hotel operations.
