Teknosa Boosts Competitiveness with Powerful Sales Analytics on Engineered Business Intelligence Platform

TeknoSA Inc., Turkey’s leading electronics and technology retailer with nearly 300 stores and busy online channels, faced performance bottlenecks from running transactional and analytical workloads on the same ERP system. The company needed a single, validated source of five years of retail sales data, faster daily sales insights across stores and products, consolidation of reporting from diverse legacy systems, and instant, customizable analytics for executives and field sales staff.

TeknoSA built an engineered business-intelligence platform—Cockpit24—using Oracle Business Intelligence on Oracle Exadata with Oracle Data Integrator 12c to create a unified enterprise data warehouse and role-based dashboards (including mobile). Leveraging Exadata features (HCC, partitioning, parallelism, smart scans) and ODI for high-performance ETL, the project validated historical sales, delivered self-service analytics, increased user satisfaction, sped decision-making, and boosted competitiveness while reducing IT workload and total cost of ownership.
