TargetData, a data and analytics startup serving more than 15 market segments, was challenged by the high cost of the computing power needed to run its AI- and machine learning-driven services. To keep growing without hurting margins, the company looked for a cloud platform that could better balance performance and cost, ultimately selecting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and the Oracle for Startups program.

Oracle helped TargetData migrate its entire infrastructure to OCI, including sensitive customer data management and risk and compliance workloads. The result was about a 60% reduction in data costs, along with major performance gains: environment creation became 70% faster, testing sped up by about 50%, production provisioning improved by roughly 80%, and service availability rose to near 100%.
