Tamara, a fintech in the Middle East and North Africa, needed a cost-effective, scalable platform for fast-growing application development and data management. As its data sources and business-analysis demands increased, complex queries were slowing down, and the company also needed to consider data residency requirements in Saudi Arabia. Tamara turned to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and MySQL HeatWave to support its MySQL workloads.

Oracle implemented Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with MySQL HeatWave and OCI Kubernetes Engine to simplify data handling and accelerate analytics without ETL tools. The result was more than 60% lower costs and up to 3x faster performance for many complex queries, enabling real-time intelligence and better customer insights. With Oracle, Tamara also scaled to more than 2 million users and 3,000 merchants.
