Synergetic Systems Management Rapidly Adapts Behavioral Health Management System to Fluid Market Conditions Creates Mobile App for Crisis Situations

Synergetic Systems Management LLC (SSM) developed El Perico to provide an affordable, web-based program management system for midsize behavioral health agencies that deliver care in patients’ homes and must track treatment programs, visits, and limited public funds. Lacking in-house IT resources and facing rapidly changing market conditions, SSM needed a scalable, secure solution that met HIPAA requirements and could extend immediate crisis-management capabilities to clinicians wherever they are.

Partnering with ECS Team and building on Oracle technology—Oracle ADF, WebLogic, JDeveloper, and Oracle Database—SSM launched El Perico as a SaaS offering delivered on time and on budget, with protected health information controls. Using Oracle Mobile Application Framework they rapidly created a cross-platform crisis-management mobile app in about two weeks, enabling authorized users to securely access critical information on tablets and smartphones and delivering cost-effective, scalable value.
