Stellantis streamlines services in Brazil with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Stellantis, the shared services arm of the automotive group, needed to modernize its on-premises IBM systems in Brazil because its foreign trade and tax applications were running at capacity, slowing reporting and exposing the company to government fines. The company also needed stronger security, high availability, disaster recovery, and more scalability to support business growth and mergers.

Oracle helped Stellantis by deploying Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with Exadata Database Service to host its administrative and trade applications. The result was nearly 50% faster report and calculation processing, payroll execution reduced from 12 hours to just a few minutes, and core usage lowered from 10 to 8, freeing capacity for additional workloads. Oracle also improved security, disaster recovery, and scalability, while delivering better price-performance and simplifying integration of new businesses.
