Standard Forwarding LLC, a DHL Freight road‑freight affiliate and Midwest less‑than‑truckload (LTL) carrier with 17 terminals, faced a document‑heavy, paper‑based invoicing process and growing customer demand for online self‑service. Working with Oracle partner Redstone Content Solutions and using Oracle WebCenter Capture, WebCenter Content, Oracle ADF and WebLogic, Standard Forwarding automated invoice capture, consolidated bills of lading and delivery receipts into a single repository, and launched a self‑service website to manage the shipment lifecycle. The result: faster invoicing, about $350,000 in annual savings, fewer customer service calls, and the ability to serve higher volume with the same staff through a modular, easily integrated platform.
