Solent NHS Trust needed a way to keep parents and families informed during COVID-19, when in-person appointments and education were harder to deliver. The trust turned to Oracle Service Cloud to build Family Assist Solent, a digital portal for childcare, pregnancy, and family support guidance.
Oracle implemented a searchable knowledgebase, live chat, and targeted email campaigns to deliver timely, medically approved information 24/7. The result was improved communication with thousands of families across Portsmouth, Southampton, and the Isle of Wight, while saving healthcare staff time previously spent on manual letters and phone calls.
