Skanska moves to the cloud with Oracle Cloud Applications

Skanska, the global construction company, needed a better long-term strategy for its on-premises Oracle ERP, Procurement, SCM, and HCM systems in Sweden. As cloud capabilities matured, the company wanted to reduce upgrade burden, lower reliance on customizations, and move to a provider-managed platform with always-current capabilities.

Oracle helped Skanska Sweden migrate those applications to Oracle Cloud Applications, with Oracle Consulting delivering the move on time and under budget. The company also built more than 190 integrations, cut custom extensions to 66, and added Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Identity and Access Management, and OCI API Gateway, resulting in lower costs and complexity, stronger security, and better finance and HR visibility.
