Sirfin Group Enhances Customer IT Services with Oracle Cloud

Sirfin SpA (Sirfin Group) is an Italian IT services company that designs software, provides hosting and document management, and delivers 24/7 backup and disaster recovery for public and private customers. Facing the growing burden and cost of operating two physical server farms that supported its flagship web‑based HR application, Sirfin needed to reduce complexity and expenses, improve application performance, speed bulk data mining for customers, and adopt modern cloud technology to boost agility.

Sirfin migrated its infrastructure to Oracle Cloud IaaS—using Dedicated Compute Classic, Object Storage Classic, and Oracle Database Cloud Extreme Performance—with support from Oracle Consulting and a Customer Success Manager. The move let Sirfin retire a server farm and cut floor, power, and security costs; simplify operations and free technicians for strategic projects; and significantly improve performance (data extraction times from 2 hours to 15 minutes and 25 minutes to 2 minutes, plus up to 20% faster Oracle Forms/Reports and 10% faster Java components), increasing customer satisfaction and business agility.
