Silver Fern Farms boosts employee engagement with Oracle Cloud

Silver Fern Farms, New Zealand’s leading food manufacturer with 7,000 employees, needed to replace a set of disconnected homegrown HR tools that required heavy manual work and created data duplication across sites. The company wanted a single platform to connect employees, centralize information, improve engagement, and support development, and chose Oracle Cloud HCM with help from Oracle Partner Pinpoint HRM.

Oracle implemented Oracle Cloud HCM, starting with Core, then adding Oracle Learning, Oracle Recruiting, Oracle Workforce Compensation, and Oracle Performance Management. The results included a new organization structure for 7,000 employees in just six weeks, 160 employees enrolling in 365 LinkedIn Learning courses in the first six months, 1,721 applications and 35 permanent hires in 5.5 months, and a 10-day reduction in annual compensation review effort; more than 74% of employees defined yearly goals and over 40% completed performance reviews during the early rollout.
