Sertrading gains greater efficiency in the import and export market with OCI

Sertrading, a global imports company, needed a better way to process more than 800 types of business documents, including invoices and payment slips. Its previous approach struggled with about 80% extraction accuracy and slow, manual workflows, so it turned to Oracle and an AI-powered solution built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Oracle, working with MPL Corporate Software, implemented an OCI-based AI agent using OCI Document Understanding, OCI Generative AI models, and Oracle APEX. The new platform lets users upload documents for automatic data extraction and JSON output, raising accuracy to 98%, reducing manual work, speeding up operations, and improving satisfaction for hundreds of users.
