Serhs is a Barcelona‑based hospitality group of 59 acquired firms serving more than 40,000 clients with 2,500 employees across hotels, food distribution, travel and catering services. The company needed to optimize cross‑branch information flow and HR processes—onboarding, complaint handling and file management—which had produced duplicate and lost documents, slow searches, and strained resources during peak season.
By deploying Oracle WebCenter Content Serhs digitized more than 350,000 inbound and outbound invoices annually and automated HR filing for over 4,000 employees and 100,000 associated documents. The initiative cut printing/postage costs by about US$372,500, authorized 25% more invoice approvers (reducing approval and filing to 15 minutes vs. days or weeks), lowered labor hours managing HR files, and enabled secure, paperless access across all 59 branches.
