Serasa Experian uses GPU clusters on OCI to help enhance fraud prevention

Serasa Experian, a leading Brazilian credit bureau and technology provider, needed more computing power to improve fraud prevention, authentication, and AI model training. To meet growing demands and limited global GPU availability, the company turned to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and its GPU-based services.

Oracle implemented GPU clusters on OCI, using NVIDIA GPUs and OCI Data Science to support large-scale machine learning and high-performance computing workloads. The results were significant: Serasa Experian ran over 1,000 training sessions per day, expanded hyperparameter searches, and cut query response times by 90%, enabling document photo analysis and validation in less than a second.
