SECURA Insurance Empowers Independent Agents with Fast, Immediate Access to Customer History

SECURA Insurance is a mutual property-and-casualty insurer based in Appleton, Wisconsin, serving policyholders in 12 states through more than 450 independent agents. Facing the need to give customers direct online access to documents, provide agents immediate access to customer history, centralize and simplify document creation across technical and nontechnical staff, and stay current on document automation with limited IT resources, SECURA sought a robust, scalable solution.

SECURA implemented Oracle Documaker (Standard, Enterprise, and Mobile) with Oracle consulting to create a smart archive and automated publishing platform. The solution gives agents a 360-degree view of policyholders, enables secure online access to insurance cards, personalizes correspondence, and streamlines production of 300+ document types—producing 29,000 pages and archiving 5,500 transactions daily while ensuring compliance for 92,000 ad hoc letters annually. The upgrade eliminated printed agency statements, cut internal paper use by over 2,000 pages monthly, improved regulatory and legal responsiveness with a 20+ year archive, and reduced reliance on in-house IT.
