SATLOG modernizes fleet management at scale on Oracle Cloud

SATLOG, a Germany-based fleet management company serving inner-city, regional, and long-distance trucking, needed to unify data from multiple truck systems into near real-time dashboards while improving security and keeping up with rapid growth. Its aging on-premises database environment was creating maintenance and downtime issues, so it turned to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing to simplify data management and support mixed data sources.

Oracle implemented Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing with Oracle APEX and Oracle Spatial to automate database administration, speed application development, and build dashboards for route optimization, geofencing, and telematics reporting. As a result, SATLOG moved its telematics solution to the cloud, reduced operational costs, and gained new analytics to measure and optimize workflows such as order processing, proof of delivery, routing, and idle time.
