Sakura Finetek Europe, part of Sakura, supplies cancer diagnosis products and consumables to healthcare laboratories across Europe, Africa, India, and the Middle East. As the company expanded from 5 to 15 regional business units, its legacy on-premises systems became manual and labor-intensive, slowing operations and making it harder to meet customer promises. Sakura turned to Oracle Cloud Applications to streamline processes and support its goal of fully automating anatomic pathology.

Oracle implemented a suite including Oracle Cloud SCM, Oracle CPQ, Oracle Subscription Management, Oracle Cloud ERP, and later Oracle Cloud HCM. The result was standardized workflows, better forecasting, lower inventory, more agile shipping, improved purchasing control, and faster quoting and invoicing. Oracle helped Sakura improve service levels and customer satisfaction while enabling quicker, more accurate cancer diagnosis support for pathology labs.
