Saffiro Informática, an IT solutions provider in La Paz, Bolivia, develops the proprietary Saffiro ERP used by customers such as the Kantutani Group. Facing the need for a secure, sustainable database with 24/7 availability to protect client data and support growth, the company sought a robust management platform to scale its business-management, billing and reporting capabilities.

Saffiro selected Oracle Enterprise Manager to automate and manage its applications and databases; this eliminated the need for external ERP purchases and hardware rental, yielding about $24,000 in annual savings for the Kantutani deployment, avoided the cost of multiple third‑party ERPs, and helped avoid more than $1.3 million in operating license costs for its salesforce over time. The move also expanded Saffiro’s ability to offer its ERP to more companies and generate new revenue.
