Case Study: Rotary International achieves scalable, modernized grant systems with Oracle Cloud

A Oracle Case Study

Rotary modernizes its humanitarian mission by moving PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud

Rotary International, a global service organization with more than 35,000 clubs and 1.2 million members, needed to modernize a resource‑strained PeopleSoft grant‑application and financial system. With a small IT staff and PCI‑compliance requirements, Rotary sought a full‑function cloud platform and an experienced partner to handle demand spikes from events and global disasters.

Rotary engaged Oracle Consulting to lift‑and‑shift its on‑premises PeopleSoft footprint to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (using Oracle Soar) with disaster recovery and PCI compliance. The migration stabilized its grant and financial systems, provided scalable compute and storage to absorb traffic spikes, reduced the need to hire additional infrastructure engineers, and paved the way for planned Oracle Cloud ERP and Cloud CX deployments.
