RiksTV is Norway’s distributor of pay television on the country’s large digital terrestrial network, offering channels, streaming and mobile services. Rapid growth — including a 2016 launch of 10 new channels and new apps — exposed limitations in its Excel‑based planning and budgeting, creating a need to streamline processes, improve finance productivity, enable what‑if forecasting, and increase business agility to support ongoing expansion.

RiksTV implemented Oracle Cloud EPM Planning (Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service), with partner Sucaba, replacing the slow, error‑prone Excel environment with a customizable cloud platform deployed in months without new infrastructure. The move automated and accelerated planning and budgeting, gave the finance team anytime access to trusted data, enabled scenario analysis for smarter decisions, and supported rapid responses to management — all of which helped sustain growth and improve operational agility.
