Case Study: Shenzhen Pagoda achieves 84% weekly sales prediction accuracy and a fresher, leaner supply chain with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse

A Oracle Case Study

Preview of the Shenzhen Pagoda Case Study

Retail strategy bears fruit with Oracle Cloud

Shenzhen Pagoda is a fast-growing Chinese fruit retailer and distributor that combines high-quality produce with personalized service. Because its products are perishable and demand varies by store, Pagoda needed to manage and analyze large, diverse data sets—from cultivation and imports to local shipping and store consumption—to get the right fruit to the right place at the right time while reducing IT overhead and costs.

Pagoda deployed Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, using machine learning to integrate membership, historical sales, inventory, marketing, and weather data for faster, automated insights. The solution enabled weekly sales predictions with 84% accuracy, reduced inventory backlog, improved freshness and store profits, and scaled across 200 supply bases, 20 distribution centers, and 4,000 stores to serve some 45 million consumers.
