Reliance Capital unifies HR with Oracle Cloud

Reliance Capital’s Reliance Commercial Finance needed to keep core lending applications running fast and reliably as it served more than 70,000 customers across India. Its legacy mix of Oracle Exadata Database Machine and Microsoft SQL Server systems was struggling with over 2,000 users, 500 concurrent sessions, and more than 6,000 daily transactions, making loan processing, approvals, and application deployment slow and difficult to manage. Oracle products including Exadata, Exalogic Elastic Cloud, and WebLogic Suite were used to address these challenges.

Oracle implemented Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud and Oracle WebLogic Suite, integrated with Oracle Exadata, to deliver higher performance, scalability, and easier management. The result was up to 30% faster loan transaction processing, 70% higher IT staff productivity, and loan approval times cut from three days to one. Oracle also helped Reliance Capital deploy new applications in less than a day instead of eight weeks, improving customer satisfaction and competitiveness.
