Case Study: Raymond James Financial achieves real-time reporting and improved advisor productivity with Oracle Data Integrator and GoldenGate

A Oracle Case Study

Preview of the Raymond James Financial Case Study

Raymond James chose Oracle Data Integration to improve financial advisor productivity

Raymond James Financial, a diversified financial-services firm with roughly 6,200 advisors serving over 2.5 million accounts, needed to centralize operational data and replace legacy point-to-point integrations to improve data quality, governance, and repeatable migration processes. The firm sought faster, more reliable access to client and portfolio data to boost advisor productivity and accelerate time to market for new services.

Raymond James implemented Oracle Data Integrator and Oracle GoldenGate to power an Operational Data Store that consolidates seven heterogeneous sources (including HP NonStop, Oracle, SQL Server, and Netezza). The solution—developed in three months—delivered real-time replication, reduced report generation from minutes to seconds, cut data-latency to a median of nine seconds, shortened return calculations from 12–16 hours to 30–60 minutes, halved integration time for new sources, and improved data quality, system availability, developer productivity, and advisor responsiveness.
