The Royal Automobile Club of Queensland (RACQ) is Queensland’s largest motoring club, serving 1.6 million members with roadside assistance, insurance, banking and other member services. Facing manual, paper‑based recruiting, onboarding and talent‑management processes that strained HR and senior leaders—especially when hiring up to 400 people a year—RACQ needed a centralized, user‑friendly way to identify and retain key talent and reduce administrative burden.
With help from Oracle Consulting and partner Presence of IT, RACQ implemented Oracle HCM Cloud (Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent Management, and Talent Review & Succession). The solution automated recruiting workflows (prescreening ~17,000 applications/year), enabled talent reviews in under 10 minutes per person, halved time to ROI for recruiting, cut hiring costs, reduced flight risk by surfacing development needs faster, and improved the overall HR and leader experience.
