Qualicorp, Brazil’s largest administrator of collective health insurance with 3,200 corporate clients and 4.7 million beneficiaries, faced complex regulatory requirements, fragmented data across three ERPs (RM, Protheus, SAP), and manual, error-prone accounting processes. The company needed to consolidate financial information, accelerate close cycles, ensure timely compliance with government and investor reporting, and improve reporting accuracy and visibility for management.

Working with Oracle and partner Technolab, Qualicorp deployed Oracle Hyperion applications, Oracle Database 12c, Oracle Data Integrator and Oracle Workflow to centralize and automate financial consolidation across 38 departments and 240 accounting processes. The implementation standardized data capture from multiple systems, reduced reliance on Excel, sped up closes, enabled customized regulatory and investor reporting, improved accuracy and analysis, and freed analysts for more strategic tasks while ensuring timely compliance.
