A Oracle Case Study
Propre, a global real estate database provider, needed a more scalable and cost-efficient way to handle hundreds of millions of records and real-time analysis across 17 countries as it prepared to expand further. Its AWS-based big data platform was becoming difficult and expensive to manage, so it turned to Oracle and Oracle Autonomous Database to support growth and improve performance.
Oracle implemented Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, along with OCI load balancing for crawling servers. The move delivered a 99% performance improvement without tuning, reduced operating and support costs, and freed database administrators to focus on analytics and innovation. Propre also cut network costs to a tenth for some services and accelerated the creation of new real-time data services.
