Pivdenny Bank turns to Oracle Cloud VMware Solution to help protect IT operations

Pivdenny Bank, the third-largest bank in Ukraine by assets, needed to protect its core VMware-based applications and maintain operations after the war with Russia began. To replicate data and applications outside the country while keeping control over its IT environment, the bank chose Oracle Cloud VMware Solution from Oracle.

Oracle implemented Oracle Cloud VMware Solution so Pivdenny Bank could manage configurations, patches, and updates on its own schedule, matching existing on-premises policies. As a result, the bank migrated its VMware estates in just a few weeks, integrated them with on-premises resources, and now runs 95% of its business services in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as an additional data center outside Ukraine.
