A Oracle Case Study
Pingat XD (Groupe Pingat) managed the Learning Center Paris Saclay — a combined library, outreach venue and collaborative workspace — and faced challenges coordinating BIM across multiple organizations and software platforms. The team needed a common data environment to review IFC models, give non‑BIM users (including the client) access to 3D information, reduce scope changes and speed up resolution of RFIs and variations while promoting transparency and collaboration.
They implemented Aconex Connected BIM and a collaborative platform to centralize models, enable integrated viewing and editing without authoring software, and configure secure, project‑wide workflows. The result: 95% faster large‑file sharing, 90% quicker model access, 75% faster distribution, and a 20% reduction in RFIs and variations, plus improved issue resolution, transparency and a more collaborative project culture.
