PhilCement, the cement subsidiary of Philippine conglomerate Phinma, moved from importing to operating a new plant and terminal in Mariveles as part of an expansion to lead the local and regional market. To support growth it needed an ERP platform to simplify purchasing, order and inventory management, and financials, provide real-time operational visibility, and enable remote work.

PhilCement implemented Oracle Cloud ERP for its broad functionality, security, low maintenance, and seamless workflows, which also smoothed the COVID-19 shift to remote processes. The cloud solution automated finance and core operations, reduced truck turnaround time, provided real-time visibility into transactions and inventory, and improved the accuracy and speed of financial reporting and decision-making.
