People’s Choice Credit Union, one of Australia’s largest member‑owned financial institutions with more than 365,000 members, needed to move beyond payroll systems and spreadsheets to manage recruitment, onboarding and performance. With limited visibility into staff skills and performance, the credit union sought a single HCM platform to align staff performance with strategy, improve the employee experience, and attract and retain the right talent amid rapid industry change.

Working with Certus APAC, People’s Choice implemented Oracle Cloud HCM (Human Capital Management, Performance Management, Goal Management and Talent Acquisition) in a phased rollout and went live in 15 months, on time and on budget. The new platform delivered real‑time workforce insight, automated end‑to‑end HR processes and integrated with payroll; enabled instant job postings and digital offer signing; achieved 83% staff adoption in the first week and 2,500 published goals in four months—resulting in faster, better HR decision‑making, improved talent management and a stronger candidate and staff experience.
