PapersHive, a Swedish life sciences startup, needed a scalable way to support its academic search engine and reference manager while speeding up biomedical intelligence, pharmacovigilance, and reporting. The company wanted to reduce manual research and development work and improve access to medical data for faster drug and medical device launches, using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related Oracle services.

Oracle implemented OCI for PapersHive’s testing and production environments, with Oracle Cloud Storage handling 2TB of data and OCI Kubernetes Engine (OKE) enabling fast Kubernetes deployment and reliable operations. As a result, PapersHive continues to run and develop its platform on Oracle, saving researchers time and automating manual tasks while benefiting from automatic updates, patching, and scaling.
